PGCert in Fashion Management

The Fashion Management graduate certificate at Humber Polytechnic covers business operations, merchandising and strategy for the fashion and retail sectors. Coursework covers the political, economic, social, environmental and regulatory factors affecting the fashion industry and global sourcing, along with accounting, finance and supply chain methods, merchandising and store-level operations, promotions and product offering analysis, and entrepreneurship and start-up business planning. Students develop a merchandising and replenishment plan, a promotional and visual merchandising plan, and a wholesale fashion line proposal, and study historical and current fashion industry trends. A paid or unpaid four-week work placement is included in the third semester, and a study-abroad placement is available through Florence University of the Arts in the summer semester. The three-semester program is delivered fully online, with a January intake, and is open to domestic students only.
