Overview
Ce programme apprend à concevoir des applications informatiques à l'aide de différents langages selon le type d'application : applications commerciales en Java, C# et Visual Basic, applications autonomes graphiques (Java, C++) et applications internet (HTML, JavaScript, PHP), en plus des bases de données Access, Microsoft SQL Server et MySQL. De nombreux travaux pratiques complètent la formation théorique. La personne diplômée est en mesure de créer, tester, installer et maintenir des applications ainsi que de diagnostiquer et corriger des problèmes. Offert aussi avec option coop ; La Cité est le seul collège à offrir ce programme en français en Ontario.

Admission Requirements: Domestic entry — Ontario: OSSD or an equivalent, or pass the mature-applicant test if you are 19 or over, plus Mathematics MCR3U, MCF3M or MAP4C; MCT4C is recommended. Quebec: the DES or the mature-applicant test, plus Mathematics TS 064406, SN 065406, Mathématique 436 or Secondary 5 CST. New Brunswick: the DES or the mature-applicant test, plus Mathematics 30321B; 30411B is recommended. An applicant who falls short on mathematics can still be admitted by passing the numeracy test on the Compétences pour réussir platform or La Cité's preparatory mathematics course. International applicants must hold a secondary-school diploma or baccalaureate, or be in their final secondary year with proof of enrolment; La Cité states that admission is competitive because places are limited and is never guaranteed.

La Cité classes it as a regular (non-quota) programme, which means it keeps taking applications while places remain and makes an offer once the file is complete.
