Overview

Version coopérative du programme d'adjoint juridique, cette formation fondée sur la common law de l'Ontario ajoute une expérience rémunérée en milieu de travail au parcours d'études. L'étudiant s'y prépare à des responsabilités variées : documents nécessaires à une transaction immobilière ou à la constitution d'une société, recherche juridique, rédaction de documents en droit de la famille ou de plaidoiries et suivi de dossiers de succession. Les travaux pratiques développent la capacité d'appliquer les notions juridiques à des cas concrets sous la supervision d'un juriste.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Students admitted to the co-op stream must maintain their eligibility for this programme at all times and follow La Cité's general conditions for co-operative programmes. Academic admission otherwise follows the general Diploma requirement: the Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, or La Cité's mature-applicant test for applicants 19 and over; the Quebec Diplôme d'études secondaires or its own mature-applicant test; or the New Brunswick Diplôme d'études secondaires or mature-applicant test, depending on province. No further programme-specific academic prerequisite is listed on this page. La Cité's institution-wide pages state that international applicants need a secondary diploma or baccalaureate, or proof of enrolment in the final year of secondary school, and that admission is competitive and never guaranteed.
