Cette spécialisation en comptabilité forme à produire des états financiers et différents rapports connexes pour des entreprises de services, commerciales et de fabrication, à l'aide des outils technologiques les plus modernes du milieu. Les tâches couvrent la comptabilisation de transactions financières, la préparation de documentation pour diverses redditions de comptes, la production de déclarations de revenus et de feuilles de travail en vue d'un audit. Offert en six étapes avec des cours de tronc commun avec le programme d'Administration des affaires et une option coop, le programme développe aussi les quatre compétences essentielles des diplômés de La Cité.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission follows the general Higher Diploma requirement of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (or, for applicants 19 and over, La Cité's mature-applicant test), with a mathematics prerequisite: MBF3C, MAP4C, MCR3U or MCF3M for Ontario applicants, CST 63404, TS 064406, SN 065406 or Mathématique 416 for Quebec applicants (with the Quebec DES or its mature-applicant test), and course 30321A for New Brunswick applicants (with the NB DES or its mature-applicant test). A candidate missing the mathematics prerequisite may still be admitted by passing the Numeracy test on La Cité's skills-for-success platform, or the college's own preparatory mathematics course. International applicants need a secondary diploma or baccalaureate, or proof of enrolment in the final year of secondary school; La Cité states its admission process is competitive because of limited capacity and that admission is never guaranteed even when every published requirement is met.
