Overview
Three-year advanced diploma at Newnham Campus building deep technical knowledge of financial accounting, cost and managerial accounting, taxation, auditing, financial management and the software behind them, including Sage ERP, Microsoft Excel, Access and Dynamics. Students must maintain a 3.0 GPA in first year and earn at least a C in ACC220 to continue, and graduates can pursue the CPA designation by entering an upper semester of Seneca's Honours Bachelor of Commerce - Accounting & Finance degree. Hybrid delivery with January, May and September starts.

Admission Requirements: Admission requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, or acceptance as a mature applicant, plus a Grade 12 C or U English course and a Grade 12 C or U (or Grade 11 U or M) mathematics course, each or equivalent. Canadian citizens and permanent residents who fall short of either subject may instead qualify by passing Seneca's own pre-admission test, and the college recommends upgrading for applicants who do not meet the academic subject requirements. International applicants must separately satisfy Seneca's English-language requirements, with additional documents or assessments requested according to home country. Once enrolled, students must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 in first year and a minimum grade of C in program course ACC220; the admission page lists no portfolio or interview requirement.
