HD in Accounting - Business Administration is a higher diploma in Business Administration programme taught at Durham College in Oshawa, Canada. The programme runs for 6 semesters, delivered on campus. Teaching is in English. Tuition for international students is CAD 15,489 per year (CAD 2,776 per year for local students).
The program covers measuring what a business does, converting that activity into financial statements and reports, and passing results on to decision-makers, with attention to the accuracy, transparency and regulatory compliance this supports. Coursework builds in simulations that give students practical experience applying accounting tasks to real-world scenarios, working with tools such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage 50 and Profile to handle payroll, invoicing, tax preparation and reporting.
