Admission Requirements: Highly competitive quota programme: files are assessed from 1 February and offers go out by mid-February. Domestic entry — Ontario: OSSD or a Canadian equivalent, or apply as a mature candidate at 19 or over; within the secondary diploma you need Biology SBI3C or SBI3U at 70% or better, Mathematics MCR3U, MCF3M or MAP4C at 70% or better (or the numeracy test), French FRA3C or FRA3U, and English EAE3C or EAE3U (or the four English skills tests). Mature candidates instead need reading comprehension 250, numeracy 275 and English reading, listening, writing and speaking at 226 each. Quebec: Biology ST 055404 or STE 058404 at 70%, Mathematics TS 064406 or SN 065406 at 70% or the numeracy test, French 132406 or 128486, English 136504 or 136506. New Brunswick: Biology 53411 at 70%, Mathematics 30321B at 70% or the numeracy test, French 10331, English 21311 or 22311. La Cite's programme-availability table for international candidates, read 6 September 2026, does not list this programme, so it is not open to international applicants. International applicants must hold a secondary-school diploma or baccalaureate, or be in their final secondary year and provide proof of enrolment; La Cité's highly competitive table records the February round as covering every application except those from international candidates, so confirm with the college first. Direct transfer is possible from Présciences de la santé or the general arts and science programme with a 70% average. Working English is expected. Before clinical placements: up-to-date immunisation record, N-95 mask, a level-C standard first aid and CPR-AED certificate (16 hours) valid for the whole programme, and a criminal record check carried out in the six months before the placement. Some placements are outside the Ottawa area and can run days, evenings, nights and weekends.
