Applicants must be at least 18 by program start and hold a valid, unrestricted Alberta Class 5 licence, or graduated licence, with an air brake endorsement. Other conditions include medical clearance through the ETC Medical Fitness and Risk Disclosure Package within one year of start, valid CPR-C and Alberta-approved Standard First Aid certification through completion, a clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector check within three months of start, and current immunization documentation.
