Program details

Overview

Rather than standing alone, this diploma functions as a route toward university-level study, with graduates who satisfy the requirements able to apply for entry into a degree program. The curriculum spans a mix of humanities and social science subjects, building numeracy, literacy, research, communication and critical-thinking skills at a university level, aimed at readying students for professional settings that touch on society, business and technology. Several Ontario universities, among them Algoma, Lakehead, Laurentian, Western, Windsor and York, accept transfer credits from the program.
