Overview

This two-year Ontario College Diploma combines foundational software engineering with applied artificial intelligence, including machine learning, natural language processing and neural networks. Students complete real-world projects and a capstone in which they design and deploy an intelligent software solution. Graduates pursue roles such as machine learning analyst, AI system developer and business intelligence designer across sectors including healthcare, finance, telecommunications and education.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent including Grade 12 English (C or U) and Grade 11 or 12 Mathematics (C or U).

Application Deadline: Domestic applicants apply through ontariocolleges.ca: for programmes starting September 2027 the application opens 26 September 2026 and 1 February 2027 is both the general equal-consideration date and the deadline Lambton states for its own competitive programs; later applications are assessed first-come, first-served while seats remain, and Lambton names no specific competitive programmes on its admissions page. International applicants apply directly to Lambton or through an authorised agent, with applications processed within two to five business days; the college publishes no fixed international closing date, and offers carry their own acceptance and payment deadlines. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
