Human Resources Management is a Bachelor of Commerce major at MacEwan University's Triffo School of Business, developed in line with the CPHR Competency Framework set by CPHR Canada. The curriculum covers recruitment, employee development, compensation, and labour relations, and prepares students for the National Knowledge Exam, a primary requirement of the Chartered Professional in Human Resources designation. The 120-credit degree combines core business and non-business coursework with the Human Resources Management major, following a four-year suggested course sequence. Graduates are positioned for roles in recruitment, training and development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and broader human resources functions across private, public, and not-for-profit organizations, with a pathway toward CPHR designation. Course sequencing and elective options are set out in the university's program and course calendar.
