Overview

International Business is a Bachelor of Commerce major at MacEwan University focused on managing organizations across borders. Students apply concepts from core business disciplines, including strategy, finance, and marketing, in a globalized context, and develop cross-cultural and contextual competencies for working internationally. Coursework covers global strategy, cross-border trade, international finance, and international marketing alongside the standard Bachelor of Commerce business core. The 120-credit degree follows a four-year suggested course sequence combining core and non-business requirements with the International Business major. The program suits students aiming for careers in global trade, multinational management, international marketing, or further graduate study in international business, building on MacEwan's Triffo School of Business core curriculum. Course sequencing and elective options are set out in the university's program and course calendar.
