The Christian Ministry Certificate is a one-year, on-campus program at Millar College of the Bible covering the first year of the college's core Bible and theology curriculum. Students complete 32 academic credits across Fall and Winter semesters, including courses in Bible overview, hermeneutics, theology, the Gospels, discipleship, and communications, alongside weekly Field Education placements in a local church or ministry setting. The curriculum introduces students to biblical interpretation and lays a foundation for further ministry training. The program is offered at Millar's Pambrun (Saskatchewan), Sunnybrae (British Columbia), and Winnipeg (Manitoba) campuses, where students live in dorms or, for families and mature students, arrange off-campus housing. Students who complete the first year with a cumulative grade point average of 1.5 or higher receive the Christian Ministry Certificate; those continuing their studies proceed into the second year toward the Christian Ministry Diploma or Bachelor of Biblical Studies.
