Admission Requirements: Entry requires at minimum a two-year college diploma or a university degree in Community or Health Services; applicants with degrees in unrelated fields may still be considered if they have completed a significant number of related courses in those preferred academic areas. Applicants whose first language is not English must present TOEFL 560 (83 internet-based), IELTS Academic 6.5 overall with no band below 6.0, Duolingo 115-120 (no band below 105), or completion of Mohawk's GAS-English for Academic Purposes program. Some field-placement roles require applicants to meet certain physical standards as a condition of employment, attendance at program orientation is strongly recommended, and students may need to complete Preplacement Non-Academic Requirements before field placement, at extra cost beyond tuition.
