Admission Requirements: This is a graduate certificate for people who already hold a policing or justice credential.
ACADEMIC ENTRY, one of: a two-year or longer college diploma in Police Foundations, in Protection Security and Investigation, or in a related field; or a university degree in criminology or a related field.
ENGLISH, required of anyone whose first language is not English and of anyone whose secondary or post-secondary study was outside Canada. Accepted evidence: IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with no band under 5.5; TOEFL iBT 80 with no section under 20, or paper-based TOEFL 550; CAEL 70; PTE Academic 58; CLBPT 7 with no band under 7; or completion of Mohawk's General Arts and Science - English for Academic Purposes program (478 or 278), placement into which is set by an in-house test or by a TOEFL or IELTS Academic result.
