Overview
The Microsoft Office suite products that are available free to Niagara College students though Office 365 do have versions that work with Macbooks and Chromebooks, and most internet-based applications will work as well. However, some program-specific software is designed to run on Windows 10/11, and the successful download of these applications cannot be guaranteed.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Admission requires an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, including English at any Grade 12 (C) or (U); Mathematics at any Grade 12 (C) or (U) is recommended but not required. Applications are evaluated against the published requirements, and an offer can be issued once they are met, subject to space availability. The programme page does not publish English-language test scores; per Niagara College's institution-wide requirement for undergraduate diploma and certificate programs, applicants whose first language is not English need IELTS Academic 6.0 overall with no band under 5.5, TOEFL iBT 80 with a minimum of 20 in Writing and Speaking, Duolingo English Test 105 or higher with no subscore below 95, PTE Academic 58 or higher with no skill below 53, Cambridge English 169 with no skill under 162, or CAEL 60 with no band under 50.

Application Deadline:Niagara College's equal-consideration deadlines apply equally to domestic and international applicants to competitive programs, published for the 2026-2027 cycle: for September 2026 entry the date was 1 February 2026, for January 2027 entry it is 5 June 2026, and for May 2027 entry it is 30 October 2026, each followed roughly three weeks later by a document deadline and an earliest-offer date. All other programs, the majority, are processed first-come, first-served starting each November for both domestic and international applicants, with offers issued until seats fill or the term begins. Niagara does not publish which named programs currently hold competitive status. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
