Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Finance

The Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Finance is a two-year programme for graduates holding a bachelor's degree in a discipline other than finance who want foundational and advanced financial knowledge. Core coursework covers principles of finance, investment and portfolio theory, financial markets and institutions, and risk and insurance. Advanced electives include corporate financial strategy, financial forecasting and modelling, international finance and currency markets, and behavioural finance or financial ethics. Students complete applied projects using industry tools such as Excel, Bloomberg, and financial analysis software, building practical skills alongside theoretical grounding. The programme is offered full-time or part-time. Intakes are offered in the Fall and Winter terms. On completion, graduates receive a Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Finance from Nipissing University, positioning them for roles in financial analysis and planning.
