Overview

Students take courses across a range of subjects to build interdisciplinary perspectives while developing communication and critical thinking skills. The program serves two purposes: it can stand alone as a workforce-ready credential, or it can serve as a foundation for transferring into the third year of a Bachelor of Arts degree at a university. Admission requires a minimum grade in English 30-1 and one additional 30-level subject drawn from a defined list of Alberta Education courses, with Biology 30 recommended for students planning to pursue a psychology emphasis. The program is open to both domestic and international applicants.
