Overview
The Diploma in Bible is a two-year, 48-credit program at Prairie College focused on in-depth study of Scripture. The curriculum includes 30 credits of Bible and Theology and 18 credits of Arts and Sciences, with seven Bible courses (four Old Testament, three New Testament) covering the full canon. Students develop skills in interpreting both testaments in their literary, historical, and theological contexts and in applying biblical content to contemporary faith and practice. The diploma builds directly on Prairie's one-year Bible Certificate and can serve either as a standalone credential or as a foundation for transfer into one of Prairie's four-year degree programs. Graduates leave with a strong biblical foundation for church and ministry work, further study, or entry into the workforce.
