Diploma in Christian Ministries

Ambrose University's Diploma in Christian Ministry is a two-year, 60-credit program that helps students explore and develop their ministry gifts for specialized roles in churches, parachurch organizations, and other Christian service settings. The program combines academic coursework with a substantial practicum component: students are paired with a mentor in a church or para-church organization and complete five to six hours of practicum work each week throughout the program. This mentored, hands-on model gives students direct, supervised experience in ministry settings alongside their classroom study. The diploma builds foundational theological knowledge together with practical ministry skills, preparing graduates for vocational or lay ministry roles. Credits from Ambrose's one-year Certificate of Christian Discipleship can be applied toward this diploma, letting students continue their studies without losing academic progress.
