The Certificate in Christianity and Mental Health examines Christian perspectives on mental health, spanning everyday stress through clinical mental illness and addiction to aging well, and considers how faith shapes engagement with these issues in both professional and personal settings. The credit-based certificate requires 12 credit hours: six in mental health, three in biblical or theological studies, and three in electives, with a minimum GPA of 2.7. A non-credit Certificate of Attendance instead requires 90 classroom hours in the same proportions: 45 in mental health, 15 in biblical or theological studies, and 30 in electives. Courses run during the regular fall and winter terms as well as in a summer term, when many are offered as short, often one-week, intensive sessions that allow those working full-time or living outside Vancouver to attend. Application Deadline:Regent College publishes recommended, not firm, application deadlines that recur annually with no printed cycle year: Canadian applicants are asked to apply by 1 August for September-start (Fall) programmes, 1 December for January-start (Winter) programmes, and 6 February for the May-start MALTS programme, while financial-aid applicants should apply by 1 January.
