This diploma provides a biblical, theological, and Christian worldview foundation together with practical skills for crosscultural work, and includes job-ready training in a vocational area chosen through partnerships Rocky Mountain College has developed with other institutions. Students complete an extended practicum of several months overseas in a mentored ministry setting. Because of this vocational and practicum component, the program can take two years or longer to complete and may require additional summer or semester coursework. Biblical & Theological Studies (18 credit hours) includes Introduction to the Bible, Synoptic Gospels, Pentateuch, Applied Hermeneutics in the Book of Romans, Introduction to Christian Spirituality, and Christian Faith & Practice I. General Arts (18 credit hours) includes Christian Mind, Leadership Principles, World Religions, and Christian Faith & Practice II, alongside further vocational and field education coursework. Graduates are prepared for entry-level positions on crosscultural teams operating internationally, and coursework can build toward a Rocky Mountain College bachelor's degree, though not all credits transfer to every degree program.
