Overview

Four-year honours commerce degree at Newnham Campus building strategic management skills across finance, operations, human resources, marketing, business ethics, customer service and supply chain management, in both for-profit and non-profit contexts. A mandatory, typically paid co-op work term of at least 420 hours is completed between academic semesters. From September 2026 this specialization continues as the Business Management major within Seneca's revised Honours Bachelor of Commerce (BCOMM) program.

Admission Requirements: Admission is based on an Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, or acceptance as a mature applicant, built on six Grade 12 U or M courses with a minimum overall average of 65%. English (Grade 12 ENG4U) and any Grade 12 U mathematics course must each be completed at a minimum final grade of 65%; Seneca offers free upgrading courses in English and mathematics for applicants below that level. International applicants must separately meet Seneca's general English-proficiency requirements, with country-specific documents or assessments requested as needed. Seneca notes this program is being folded into a revised Honours Bachelor of Commerce (BCOMM) launching September 2026, with Business Management continuing as a specialized major; no portfolio or interview is stated.

Application Deadline: Domestic applicants (Canadian citizens and permanent residents) apply through OntarioColleges.ca.
