As a graduate of Ontario's first college program to focus specifically on OT cybersecurity, you'll stand out by knowing how to protect systems and networks used in healthcare, military, government, manufacturing and other vital sectors.Apply theory in class and in the real worldThrough lectures, discussions and case studies, you’ll learn how to integrate cybersecurity with OT, Industrial Control Systems, AI edge devices, smart manufacturing, Industrial Internet of Things and more. You’ll then apply that theory through simulations, labs and group projects. A capstone project and mandatory work-integrated learning experience (co-op work term or workplace simulation) can help you develop real world experience and industry contacts.Flexible learning and multiple pathwaysThis program is designed to suit diverse learning needs and career goals. Most courses are available online or in person to provide maximum flexibility and accessibility.Expert faculty and advanced technologyLearn from a diverse group of instructors who have extensive industry experience, advanced cybersecurity education and professional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) and Certified Information Security Manager (CISM). They’ll teach you how to use a wide range of advanced technologies and tools, including: IoT sensors and equipment data simulations intrusion detection software such as Snort and Security Onion vulnerability assessment patch management AI edge devices virtual SCADA systems This Ontario College Graduate Certificate offers flexible program tracks to support your unique educational needs and career goals. There are two tracks to choose from: 1-year track (Program Code: POTCR) The 1-year track includes two semesters of coursework followed by an optional co-op work-term for students who apply and qualify. 2-year track (Program Code: POTCY) For learners who would benefit from additional Canadian context, this track offers an introductory semester focused on Canada's technology frameworks and practices. The 2-year track includes three semesters of coursework followed by a mandatory work-integrated learning experience (co-op work-term or workplace simulation).
