PGCert in Cloud Security, Virtual, Online is a postgraduate certificate in Cyber Security programme offered by Sheridan College in Oakville, Canada. The programme runs for 1 year, delivered on campus. Teaching is in English. Tuition for international students is CAD 19,784 per year (CAD 9,286 per year for local students).
Delivered over eight months, this certificate builds an understanding of cloud security theory and how to apply it in practice, with coursework in Linux operating systems, infrastructure design and security within cloud ecosystems, vulnerability management, the particular challenges of cloud architecture, and DevSecOps development practices. Sheridan positions it as the first credential of its kind from an Ontario public college, open to students without prior cloud security training. Graduates can use it as a step toward credentials such as Amazon Web Services certification, or to complement other graduate certificates such as those in Internet of Things and Machine Intelligence.
