Program details
Overview
The Associate of Arts in Christian Leadership is a two-year, 60-credit undergraduate program at Steinbach Bible College combining biblical and theological studies with leadership formation for ministry and vocational contexts. Year One (Engage) covers biblical interpretation, Old and New Testament survey, and Christian theology alongside arts and sciences electives in communications and Christian history. Year Two (Establish) builds on this foundation with advanced leadership coursework, intercultural communication, and practical ministry preparation. The program includes two required internships (Internship I and II, three credits each) and a service-learning component of four units spread across both years. Delivery is offered both online and on campus, allowing adult students to complete coursework in either format. Learning outcomes include biblical and theological literacy, competent biblical interpretation, spiritual discipline practice, critical thinking and communication skills, and servant leadership for ministry and vocational settings. Graduates are prepared to serve in missions, churches, and ministry organizations, and the credential functions as a direct pathway into further study at Christian seminaries and graduate schools.
