Admission Requirements: UBC's Program Office for Laboratory Quality Management page for this online Laboratory Quality Management course states no formal minimum grade or English-language test requirement. It strongly recommends that participants hold at least one of the following credentials: BSc, BMLSc, MD, PhD, RT, MT, or a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science technology, together with at least two years of work experience in a medical or research laboratory setting. Enrolment is capped at 75 participants; there is no separate application form beyond registration, which opens in mid-August for the following intake. The 20-week course runs January to June, is delivered entirely online through Canvas at a workload of about 10 hours per week, and requires a minimum pass mark of 60 percent across discussion participation, assignments, quizzes and a final examination to earn UBC CPD-accredited certification.
