Overview
UBC Sauder's full-time MBA runs for 16 months at the Robert H. Lee Graduate School on the Vancouver campus. The curriculum opens with integrative courses that cut across business functions, then narrows into specialized courses aligned to one of six career tracks chosen by the student. Experiential learning is built in: the summer is spent on an internship or on an entrepreneurial or industry project, and every student completes a mandatory two-week international immersion. Personalised leadership development runs alongside the academic work. Sauder is the only Canadian business school in the Global Network for Advanced Management, which opens up network coursework and dual-degree options with partner schools. The MBA is administered by Sauder rather than by UBC's Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies.

Admission Requirements: The MBA is run by the Sauder School of Business, not UBC's Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. Sauder's own admission requirements page asks for a Bachelor's degree with a B+ average from an accredited institution, and either a GMAT score of at least 515 (50th percentile or better on the verbal, quantitative and data-insight sections) or a GRE score of at least 155 on both the verbal and quantitative sections, valid within the last five years. English proficiency, for applicants whose degree was not English-medium, is met by IELTS Academic 7.0 overall, TOEFL 100 (0-120 scale) or 5.0 (1-6 scale), PTE Academic 70, CAEL 70 overall, or Duolingo 130, scores valid for two years. Applicants need a minimum of two years of full-time work experience after graduation, and submit a resume, essays on leadership potential, two professional references and complete an admissions interview.

Application Deadline:Domestic and international undergraduate applicants both apply through EducationPlannerBC for Winter Session 2027/28 (September 2027 entry) and Summer 2027: applications open in early October 2026 and the equal-consideration deadline is 15 January 2027, 11:59 p.m. PST, the same date for both groups; a few programs keep reviewing late applications on a space-available basis afterwards. Earlier dates apply only to entrance-award consideration -- 15 November 2026 for the International Scholars Program and 1 December 2026 for Presidential/Centennial/Beyond Tomorrow scholars. Several limited-entry programmes -- Law, Pharmacy, Dentistry, Nursing (advanced entry), Occupational/Physical Therapy, Social Work and Teacher Education -- set their own earlier deadlines from October 2026 through February 2027. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
