MA/MS in Technology Entrepreneurship and Innovation (MTEI)

The Master's of Technology Entrepreneurship and Innovation (MTEI) at McMaster University is a 16-month, course- and project-based program in which entrepreneurship teams combining expertise from multiple disciplines develop start-up plans for technology-based businesses. Coursework blends technology fundamentals with business and entrepreneurship training, and teams work collaboratively across disciplines to bring a venture concept from initial idea through to a completed start-up plan. The program is designed specifically for university graduates from honours programs outside of engineering and science, giving non-technical graduates structured exposure to technology commercialization and venture creation. It is offered on both a full-time and a part-time basis. Typical entry is in September, with a typical application deadline of February 28 for international applicants and July 31 for Canadian citizens and permanent residents.
