Requirements

Admission Requirements: No formal academic prerequisite is set for this UBC Extended Learning micro-certificate: the program page states that technical and coding skills are not required, and that coding itself is not covered in the courses. It is aimed at those involved in business-driven technology decisions - executives, technology professionals, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and students - and notes that familiarity with management information systems and business applications is an asset rather than a requirement. The page lists no minimum GPA and no English-language test score (IELTS, TOEFL or similar). Admission is through direct registration in the two constituent courses, Cloud Transformation Strategy and Cloud Technology Infrastructure Strategy, rather than a competitive application; no interview, portfolio or reference letter is mentioned.
