Creative Technology Micro-certificate

Admission Requirements: Admission runs through SFU's Concurrent Studies dual-credit pathway for high-school students rather than general university admission. Applicants must be currently registered and attending a public school in British Columbia, in Grade 11 or 12, with a grade of C+ or better in English Language Arts 10, good attendance and punctuality, and a genuine interest in the course topics; students should expect to invest time outside class on software learning and projects. All applicants must attend a required online information session before applying. Students at partnering districts (Surrey SD36, Vancouver SD39, New Westminster SD40) apply through their district's dual-credit process, with a Career Facilitator, a teacher reference letter, and a district-coordinator interview if shortlisted; students elsewhere email the program contact by April 1 and apply through SFU's Concurrent Studies website. No English-language test or post-secondary transcript is required, since this is a high-school-level credential.
