The Master of Divinity (MDiv) at Trinity Western University's Trinity Evangelical Divinity School is an 82-credit graduate program covering Scripture, theology, pastoral leadership, and cultural engagement. Students choose between two tracks: Exegetical Studies, which emphasizes biblical languages and text, and Theological Studies, which focuses on systematic and historical theology. The curriculum combines coursework with practical ministry training, including internships, preaching labs, and faculty-led formation groups. Graduates are prepared for roles in pastoral ministry, chaplaincy, missions, and further theological study, such as doctoral programs. The program is delivered in-person, online synchronously, and online asynchronously, and is offered in English, Mandarin, and Korean. Full-time completion takes approximately 32 months, with a part-time option also available. The MDiv is administered within a broadly evangelical theological tradition.
