Program details
Overview
This program leads to a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in organizational information systems, delivered in person over four years under the co-operative education (co-op) regime. It gives students a foundation in understanding and applying information systems and information technology within organizations, developing both analytical and practical skills to align IS/IT functions with wider business operations. The co-op component adds three mandatory paid work terms of 12 to 16 weeks each, integrated across the four-year, 120-credit degree, placing students in real workplace settings alongside their coursework. Students may complete the first two years at the Edmundston or Shippagan campus, with the remaining years at Moncton, or take the full four years at Moncton. Admission to the co-op stream itself requires students to apply at the end of first year and maintain a cumulative average of at least 2.50. Graduates are prepared for roles applying information-systems expertise within business organizations.
