BA/BS in Baccalauréat en sciences de l'éducation

This 90-credit programme leads to a Bachelor of Arts and is designed for students already enrolled in a UQTR teaching programme who no longer wish to pursue a teaching career; it does not grant a teaching certification. The curriculum offers a foundational education in the field, combining at least one course in research methods, 5 to 21 credits in education foundations, 18 to 45 credits in psychopedagogy, up to 12 credits of school-based internships, up to 45 credits of disciplinary specialization, and up to 15 credits of complementary or enrichment courses, with the individual pathway set according to credits already completed. Admission requires having successfully completed at least 60 credits in a UQTR teaching bachelor's programme with a minimum cumulative average of 2.0 on 4.3, and change-of-orientation requests are reviewed by the Registrar's Office only once this threshold is met. The programme is offered full-time and part-time at the Trois-Rivières campus and is not open to international applicants.
