Overview

This certificate helps students integrate new media into an existing personal artistic practice. Over 30 credits, offered full-time or part-time at the Trois-Rivieres campus with admission in the fall and winter terms, the programme develops competencies in digital and new-media tools applied to creative work. It is intended for applicants who already engage in an artistic practice and want to extend their creative expression through new-media exploration rather than begin art training from scratch. International students may enrol but must study full-time for the duration of the programme.

Requirements

Admission Requirements: Quebec-based applicants may qualify by holding a Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in arts or graphic design, or by holding a university certificate or having completed one year of related university study. Applicants from outside Quebec require either 13 years of pre-university study or 12 years of pre-university study plus one year of university coursework in a related field.
