Overview
This doctoral programme examines the social dimensions of language and of textual, discursive, and visual communication practices, contributing to theoretical, methodological, critical, and historical knowledge in the field of letters applied to social communication. Students complete a personalised programme of advanced seminars and independent research under the guidance of a supervising professor, culminating in a dissertation presenting original scholarship. The credential is a 90-credit Doctorate (PhD), offered full-time or part-time with admission in the fall, winter, and summer terms.
