Admission Requirements: Faculty of Science admission (applies to all BSc majors; no Actuarial Mathematics-specific admission requirement). Direct Entry (Manitoba high school students, fewer than 24 post-secondary credit hours): minimum average of 80% over English 40S, Applied or Pre-Calculus Mathematics 40S, one of Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science or Physics 40S, and an academic 40S course, with no less than 60% in each course. Advanced Entry (24+ post-secondary credit hours): minimum Adjusted GPA (AGPA) of 2.00. Students are admitted to the Faculty of Science generally and declare Actuarial Mathematics after completing at least 24 credit hours, typically at the end of first or second year. The Honours degree requires completing 120 or more credit hours with a minimum degree GPA of 3.00. Meeting these minimums does not guarantee admission.
