UNB's published Bachelor of Science minimums (Fredericton) are drawn from the overall average of Grade 12 academic (New Brunswick level 2, or the equivalent level-1, French Immersion or advanced course) university-preparatory marks in the courses the Faculty requires: English 122 at a minimum grade of 60%, Foundations of Mathematics 120, one of Biology 122, Chemistry 122 or Physics 122, two further electives from Group 1, one additional elective from Group 1, 2, 3 or 5, and an overall admission average of at least 75%, with the average of senior Mathematics, Chemistry and the best other science course also at least 75%; meeting the minimum does not guarantee a seat. International applicants follow the same course requirements and must also meet UNB's general English-language requirement: IELTS Academic 6.5, TOEFL iBT 85 for tests taken before 2026 or 4.5 overall with no component below 4.5 from January 2026, CAEL 60, Pearson PTE Academic 59, Cambridge English (B2 First or higher) 176, or Duolingo English Test 115.

Application Deadline:Domestic and international applicants apply through UNB's own application portal by the same published dates: for Fall 2027 entry the general deadline is 31 March 2027, and for Winter 2027 entry it is 15 November 2026, with undergraduate scholarship applications due 1 March 2027. UNB continues to accept applications after these dates while seats remain in the program, so admission is effectively rolling once the deadline passes. Limited-enrolment programmes close earlier: the Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of Education in Early Childhood Education (Fredericton) close 1 December 2026, and the Bachelor of Nursing closes 15 February 2027.
