New Brunswick Community College (NBCC) is the province's English-language public college, teaching across six campuses in Fredericton, Miramichi, Moncton, Saint John, St.
Andrews and Woodstock. It offers more than 90 full-time regular programs alongside post-graduate diplomas, apprenticeship training, part-time courses and microcredentials, organized through eight schools: Arts, Community and Protective Services; Engineering Technologies; Health and Wellness; Hospitality and Tourism; Information Technology; Professional and Part-Time Learning; Trades; and the Wesley Armour School of Business.
Credentials are mainly one-year certificates and two-year diplomas, with health programs such as Medical Laboratory Technology and Respiratory Therapy running two and a half to three years. Most programs build in a practicum, clinical placement or optional co-op term, and many trades programs lead into New Brunswick apprenticeship and Red Seal certification, where roughly 80 percent of the training is paid on-the-job work and 20 percent is in-school learning.
Through agreements with several universities, almost all diploma programs count as two years toward a four-year degree.
For 2026-27, full-time tuition is CAD 3,666 per year for Canadian and permanent-resident students and CAD 10,260 for international students, before mandatory student, health, dental and technology fees. In the college's 2025 survey of 2024 graduates, 92 percent were employed within a year of graduating and 96 percent of those employed were working in New Brunswick.
Some health programs, including Practical Nurse, Medical Laboratory Technology and Respiratory Therapy, are not currently open to international applicants.
