Doctorate in Philosophy Philosophy

The Doctorate in Philosophy in Philosophy at the University of Ottawa is offered in both English and French. It is built around an Integration Seminar, fifteen elective graduate units distributed across three areas, history of philosophy, metaphysics and epistemology, and ethics and political philosophy, followed by a candidacy examination and doctoral thesis work leading to a thesis defence.
