Overview
The Graduate Diploma in Engineering Management is offered jointly by the Faculty of Engineering and the Telfer School of Management and is awarded upon successful completion of 15 units. It is intended for engineering and science graduates seeking management training, with English as the language of instruction, and can be completed full-time or part-time, normally within one year. Compulsory courses cover topics such as engineering management fundamentals, management and leadership principles for engineers, accounting and finance for engineers, and project management, complemented by elective units. Admission is competitive, with preference given to candidates who have some full-time work experience in engineering or a related field. Students registered in the diploma may later apply for transfer to the Master of Engineering in Engineering Management, receiving advanced standing for courses already completed under the diploma before completing the remaining units of the master's degree.

Admission Requirements: Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or science with a minimum average of 70% (B); international candidates should check admission equivalencies for their credential.
