Overview
The Graduate Diploma in Engineering Management (Online) is offered jointly by the Faculty of Engineering and the Telfer School of Management and is awarded upon successful completion of 15 units. It is delivered fully online on a part-time basis, in English, normally within one year, and is intended for engineering and science graduates seeking management training without requiring campus attendance. Compulsory courses cover engineering management fundamentals, management and leadership principles for engineers, accounting and finance for engineers, and project management, complemented by elective units. Admission is competitive, with preference given to candidates who have some full-time work experience in engineering or a related field. Students registered in the online diploma may later apply for transfer to the Master of Engineering Management degree, receiving advanced standing for courses already completed under the diploma before completing the remaining units of the master's degree.

Admission Requirements: Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree with a specialization or major in engineering or science (or equivalent) with a minimum admission average of 70% (B); international candidates should check admission equivalencies for their credential.
