Overview
This Master of Business Administration is offered through the Kenneth Levene Graduate School of Business. The standard program requires up to 39 credit hours, with an accelerated 30-credit-hour option for applicants who already hold an undergraduate business degree; a route for applicants without a degree but with at least seven years of senior-level work experience is also described. Students can study full time or part time, with courses delivered online, via live-stream, in traditional lecture format, or as one-week intensives. A Co-operative Education and Internship option is available for paid work terms during the program. Coursework covers leadership development, innovation and entrepreneurship, investment and financing decisions, and strategic business solutions, and the school lists research strengths in areas such as Indigenous management, women in leadership, and agribusiness. The program suits working professionals seeking advancement into senior leadership roles rather than early-career students. The school reports that a majority of graduates who took a new position considered it a promotion, with described career destinations including chief executive officer, president, and vice-president roles.
Requirements
Minimum GPA:70.00 / %
Admission Requirements: The MBA page states only that applicants without a degree may qualify for a mid-career option with a minimum of seven years' senior-level work experience; standard admission follows the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research's general rule of a four-year bachelor's degree with a graduating average of at least 70%, since business is not one of the programs requiring 75%. The Kenneth Levene Graduate School of Business adds, for the MBA with specializations: a minimum GMAT score of 500 (or GRE equivalent) is normally required; a minimum of two years' post-degree work experience is normally required; and applicants without those may instead complete the Post-Graduate Diploma in Business Foundations, or achieve at least 70% in each of BUS 210, 250, 260, 285, 288, 290, ECON 201, ECON 202, STAT 100, plus one further undergraduate course, which also waives the extra GMAT. International applicants must show English proficiency: IELTS Academic 6.5 overall (no band below 6.0), PTE Academic 59, CAEL 70, or Duolingo 125 overall (115 minimum on any section).
Application Details
Application Deadline:Domestic applicants to the University of Regina apply for Fall 2027 entry with a recommended early deadline of 15 March 2027 for best course selection and a final new-applicant deadline of 15 August 2027; Winter 2027-28 entry has an early deadline of 1 November 2026 and a final deadline of 15 December 2026, and Spring/Summer 2027 entry closes 15 April 2027. International (study-permit) applicants share the same final deadlines as domestic students for each term but have no separate early deadline. Numerous named programs, including Nursing, Social Work, Bachelor of Indigenous Social Work, Indigenous Fine Arts and Indigenous Education, carry their own earlier deadlines instead of the general dates. Admission is not described as rolling; late non-competitive applications are simply carried to the next term the program accepts. These are institution-wide dates; this programme publishes no deadline of its own.
