Overview

The Master's Certificate in Advanced Manufacturing is offered through the University of Regina's Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science. The graduate certificate requires 9 credit hours across three courses and is typically completed in one to two years, on a full-time or part-time basis. The curriculum focuses on additive manufacturing technologies, robotics, machine vision, microfabrication, and composite manufacturing, framed within world-class manufacturing practices. A mandatory practical project course (ENIN 903) gives students hands-on experience applying these techniques. Admission standards match those for a Master's degree in engineering, and applicants are assessed against the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research eligibility requirements. International students may not be eligible for this program because of visa and study permit regulations. Graduates gain specialized skills in modern manufacturing methods that can be applied directly in industrial engineering roles or used as a foundation for further graduate study in engineering.
