The Graduate Certificate in Climate Change Vulnerability Assessment and Adaptation Action at the University of Saskatchewan prepares working professionals to translate climate science into practical adaptation planning. Students build an understanding of the relationships among climate science, vulnerability assessment methods, adaptation strategy development, and management applications, with an emphasis on turning that understanding into concrete adaptation plans that support climate action. Admission Requirements: Applicants require a four-year undergraduate degree, or equivalent (a three-year first-cycle undergraduate degree may also be considered), in a relevant academic discipline, with a minimum cumulative weighted average of at least 70% based on the last two years of study. Applicants must also submit a statement of intent (maximum 1,000 words) and two letters of reference, academic or professional. International applicants require a minimum overall TOEFL score of 86 or a minimum overall IELTS score of 6.5.
