This Bachelor of Business Administration (B.A.A.) with an Accounting Expertise concentration prepares students for the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation through Quebec's Ordre des comptables professionnels agréés. The 90-credit programme, completed over three years of full-time study, combines 18 accounting courses with 9 courses in other administrative disciplines and 3 complementary courses. Optional specialization profiles include sustainable development, distinction, entrepreneurial, honours, and international streams, and students may complete an integrated pathway into graduate studies. The programme includes up to two paid internships in professional accounting settings, with some courses taught in English and select courses available at a distance. It is offered by Université Laval's Faculty of Business Administration with admission sessions in fall, winter, and summer. Admission Requirements: Quebec DEC holders need a DEC in Sciences, Letters and Arts, Sciences of Nature, or Computer Science and Mathematics (or an equivalent International Baccalaureate stream), specific college-level mathematics and statistics courses, and a minimum cote de rendement au collégial of 25. Applicants from outside Quebec need a secondary school diploma plus one year of university study with a satisfactory mathematics background.
