Overview
Christianity and Culture is an Honours Bachelor of Arts program offered through St. Michael's College at the University of Toronto St. George campus, with Major and Minor options. The Major is a multidisciplinary exploration of Christian traditions from artistic, literary, philosophical, theological, scientific, social, and historical perspectives; the Minor covers the same range of perspectives at a reduced scale. The Major requires 6.0 credits in total, including at least 2.0 credits at the 300-level or above, of which 0.5 credit must be at the 400-level; the Minor requires 4.0 credits, including 1.0 credit at the 300-level or above. Both the Major and Minor are open enrolment, available to any student who has completed 4.0 credits, with no additional grade requirement to enrol.
Requirements
Admission Requirements: Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) with six subjects at the 4U/M level, including English (ENG4U/EAE4U); the co-op component of Grade 12 courses is not used for admission. Enrolment in the Major or Minor itself is open to any student who has completed 4.0 credits, with no additional grade requirement.
