Overview
The Master of Arts (MA) in Cinema Studies is a course-based, one-year graduate program offered by the Cinema Studies Institute at the University of Toronto, examining film and media through historical, theoretical, textual and cultural approaches. In their third term, students choose between a professional internship or a major research paper. Admission requires a minimum B+ standing, shown by an average grade in the final year or over senior-level courses.
