Requirements
Admission Requirements: This micro-certificate has no formal application; learners simply select and register independently for either of its two required courses. Applicants whose first language is not English must provide evidence of fluency through an IELTS Academic score of at least 6.0 with no component below 5.5, a TOEFL score of 550 paper-based or 79 internet-based, completion of UVic's English Language Centre ELPI 570 level, or an equivalent level through one of the university's English pathway partners. No other prerequisite course, academic average, or portfolio condition is published on the program page, and completion of either required course independently, without pursuing the full micro-certificate, remains open to any registrant meeting this same language standard.
