Sociology at the University of Windsor is a four-year Honours Bachelor of Arts (BA) program that examines social behaviour, institutions and relationships through research, analysis and communication. Students can tailor coursework to their interests across topics such as the sociology of families, genocide and war crimes, and culture and social movements, supported by a small departmental cohort that allows close faculty attention. A fourth-year practicum course gives students hands-on experience relevant to career preparation, and the program can also be taken as part of a combined honours degree with another discipline. It develops research, analytical and communication skills applicable to fields such as social services, public policy, research and further graduate study. It is offered by the Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences at the University of Windsor.
